Classes & Schedule

Our primary class is designed for children ages 4-6 years who are interested in getting started in Highland Dancing. No previous dance experience is required! In this class we instill a love a dance and movement with a focus on highland dance movements, basic steps, musicality and coordination.  

This class is designed for dancers aged 7+ (no previous dance experience required for beginners). At the beginner and novice level we are building our fundamentals of highland dance and focusing on learning steps, full dances and working on required technique. 

This class is for experienced dancers at the intermediate or premier level. In this class we are building upon your highland dancing level to hone your technique & skills while continuing to grow your knowledge of the dances and steps. 

Private lessons offer a unique opportunity for dancers to receive one-on-one training with a focus on their specific needs and goals. This class is offered in 45 minute sessions for beginner & novice level dancers, and 60 minute sessions for intermediate and premier level dancers. You can book this class by the session. *This class is highly recommended for competitive dancers 

If your dancer is competing, I offer choreography classes within your registered class schedule or as a private/semi-private lesson. I choreograph dances for competition based on interest. In this class we will learn your dancer's choreographed number and polish performance skills prior to competition. Often we will have opportunity to perform these dances recreationally as well. 

Choreography includes: solos, duets, trios, small groups and broadsword dances.
